TIP focuses on the following strategic issues:

 

Health

TIP works to meet the health needs of sexual minorities in Lagos State. Based on a needs assessment, TIP will focus on Sexual Health (emphasising HIV/STI Prevention and Treatment services) and Mental Health

 

Skills Acquisition

TIP works to meet the vocational skills of sexual minorities in Lagos State, recognizing that economic dependence and poverty are major issues impeding the growth and well-being of many young sexual minorities.

 

Social Support

TIP works to meet the social needs of sexual minorities, recognizing TIP needs to offer a safe space for people to be themselves.

 

Stigma Reduction

TIP works to reduce stigma related to sexual minority issues amongst sexual minorities themselves, civil society organizations, as well as the general public.  

 

Policy and Advocacy and Legal Support

TIP works with various stakeholders to advocate for /defend the fundamental human rights for sexual minorities, as well as provide legal support for sexual minority individuals who are being persecuted by legal entities.
